So, this has been bothering me as of late (well ever since the KotCS came out) - if you don't know what i'm talking about, i'm referring to the Indiana Jones movies...no spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen it, so don't worry...
So the thing that bothers me is why people hate Temple of Doom so much...Growing up i remember that being the one my siblings and i watched the most and enjoyed (this is not to say that the other ones aren't amazing), but i remember this one more than the other ones...I know people say that they hate it because it's different and they don't like the characters, but i just don't understand how they can absolutely hate it cause it was a bit different and that they like the crystal skull better than temple of doom

Lol, I actually made a meal...a real meal...well, ok, so it was just some chicken and macaroni and cheese, but I made it myself! and now i have leftovers for tomorrow night, woot!
other than that, not much going on...hw and the like...exams coming up x_x ...two hard ones on the same day won't be very fun...
but anyway...feels like spring today...we had a thunderstorm, complete with lightning and a downpour...so much for snowboarding season...and winter...
oh yeah, and i need to do wash...eventually...

studying for my last final...not going so well...
you would think it would be easy to study for a History 001 class (just memorize the key terms and regurgitate it all back out when you get the test)... This is not the case in my class. My stupid teacher expects us to identify the key term and then say how it relates to all this other shit that is going on and expand on the topic and relate it to things that i don't think i've ever heard of or read before (which means so much more memorization on my part)..This is not how a history 001 class(the lowest level class you can take) should be, he is expecting too much...he did it on the paper as well. all of this has resulted in me have a "solid B in the class" can someone tell me how i can get A's in 400 level math/astro classes, but i get a B in history 001? on the first exam, 4 ppl got A's, the rest were B's and C's. the same thing happened on the paper, 8 A's, the rest were B's and C's. i really really hope he curves the class.
sorry, that's my angry rant on this class...i guess i should get back to studying (and by studying i mean memorizing the book and possibly looking up other information on the internet) now...

i hate physics...can't stand it....who knew that a particle in a box was the same thing as a simple harmonic oscillator? geez, where have i been for years...
...as you can tell, i'm rather mad at the moment...used the wrong equation on my exam and the teacher is gonna ream me for it (he's terrible at giving points)..the worst part is that it was the first part of a problem (worth 45 pts), so i messed up that part and i basically got the rest of it wrong (he doesn't care if you have the method right, the final answer is all he cares about)...everyone else i talked to did the same thing i did (the exception being the one kid who asked the teacher if it was right and the teacher said no)...so yeah...i hate physics...a lot...i just want to pass this class and move on...

so, the past two weeks have been crazy, what with classes and homework, two back to back physics exams and this astro paper which i have to finish tonight :X ...but i get to go home tomorrow...so, yay...also signed up to take the GREs on tuesday..boo...i hope i do well...
for judo class, coach O makes us go to two judo classes...the first one last tuesday was hell...ended up with my calf muscle tightening up real nicely...so that sucked for a few days...just went tonight, it was fun, we sparred the whole time...i feel bad that we only know a handful a moves so far, so i just keep trying to do those (sometimes successful, other times, not so much [those times usually end up with me on the ground other than the other guy, lol])..but judo club is fun...i would consider going more, but i feel as though i don't know enough and am a bit intimidated by the bigger and better guys, lol...perhaps i'll go if others from my class go....
